We’re Here to Help
Sober Nest exists to support groups of recovering individuals who live together for the purpose of building solid foundations in sobriety. Our houses provide an environment that allows clients to start living healthy, productive lives through the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous and Celebrate Recovery. The principals set down in the Big Book of AA, NA, and CR enable our members to recover in every area of their lives.
Recovery should not feel like a sentence nor should a recovery environment feel like a cage. Sober Nest offers a non-institutional setting where clients feel free to grow in the their recovery. Our program is structured to provide the support our clients need without a heavy handed presence. Rehabilitation not institutionalization.
Sober Nest Recovery Homes, Inc, founded in 2004, is a 501-c-3 not for profit corporation, and has a State of Louisiana Charter as a charity. Sober Nest is tasked with the oversight and support of our members and the houses they maintain.
We must be entirely honest with somebody if we expect to live long or happily in this world.AA Big Book pp 73-74
